Oral Surgery

“Oral surgery is the specialty of dentistry which includes the diagnosis, surgical and adjunctive treatment of diseases, injuries and defects involving both the functional and esthetic aspects of the hard and soft tissues of the oral and  regions.” Oral Surgery Education and Training: Many years of education and training are required to become an oral and Oral surgeon. After college, four years of professional education are necessary to become a dentist. After receiving his/her doctorate, the dentist must be selected for advanced training in oral surgery. Oral Surgeons are required to successfully complete a 4 year hospital residency, similar to medical doctors.

We encourage you to contact us whenever you have an interest or concern about oral surgery such as wisdom teeth, extractions, or fractures in Bel Air.
